Rawa Toast


RAWA TOAST

This is a delicious dish that can be served as a lovely morning breakfast, tired evening snacks or a welcome dish for the guest. In this dish the bread is layered with spicy sooji mixture and then toasted to get deep golden color and crust.

It is a bachelors recipe which gets ready with few ingredients and less time.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Rava (Sooji)
2 tbsp yogurt
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
1/4 tsp Chat masala
1/4 tsp chopped Green Chilli
2 tbsp chopped Coriander leaves
2 tbsp diced Green Pepper
2 tbsp diced Tomatoes
2 tbsp diced Onion
8 slices of bread
Butter as needed

Method

1. Take rawa in to a bowl, to that add yogurt and mix well.
2. Add garlic powder, green chillies, chat masala, salt and mix well.
3. Then add green pepper, onion, tomatoes, coriander leaves and mix well.
4. Now take bread slice and spread spoonful of mixture layering the whole bread
5. Add some butter to pan, then put a slice of rawa bread keeping the rawa side down.
6. Allow it to cook till it gets deep golden color.
7. Then flip and cook till it gets deep golden crust.
8. Serve hot!

Tips

If you loveeee pizza... but are a healthy eater... This recipe can make you a healthy version of pizza..keep steps 1-3 as listed above, then add a 1 and a half spoons of mixture on the bread (a little more than mentioned above) and DONOT make it crusty...flip after 3-4 minutes.
It tastes like a pizza..and that's one big reason I LOVE this recipe.
